Bull rider in a cloud of dust at a backlit rodeo arena

Clean, fast-paced barrel racing footage from across the Midwest — filmed by someone who rides the pattern too.

About Me

Hey, I’m Ocean.

I’m an equine and western lifestyle videographer — learning photography along the way. My journey behind the camera started running social media for my college rodeo team, where I learned how powerful good content can be: not just to showcase the sport, but to tell the story behind every run.

Today I film at barrel races across the Midwest, focused on clean, fast-paced footage riders are proud to share. Whether it’s a winning run or a memory to hold onto, my job is to make sure it looks as good on screen as it felt in the arena.

Why I do this

To help riders see themselves the way they deserve to — strong, fast, and capable. Great footage doesn’t just look good; it builds confidence and lets your hard work shine.

How I work

I compete right alongside everyone at most races, which gives me a rider’s perspective behind the camera. Sometimes that limits which draws I can film — thanks for your patience while I grow this business from both sides of the arena.

Rodeo family

I grew up watching my grandpa and cousins compete, and I’m thankful to keep the tradition alive. My dad and brother are usually at the shows with me — cheering me on and sometimes running the camera while I make my own run.

The Work

Straight from the arena

Stills and moments from recent races. Full videos never go online — that’s on purpose. Here’s a taste of the style instead.

Show Videos

Why you won’t find the videos online

Uploading video means compressing it — and compressing it means the run you worked all season for looks softer than it did in person. So your video never gets watered down: every one is sold in person at the race or by direct message, delivered at 100% of its original quality.

1

Your run gets filmed

I’m at barrel races across the Midwest all season, catching runs in full resolution — clean, fast-paced footage you’ll be proud to share.

2

Find me or message me

Come say hi at the race, or send a message with the event, your name, and your draw — I’ll check if I caught your run.

3

Take home the original

You get the full-quality file straight from my camera — not a compressed web copy. What I shot is exactly what you keep.

No previews. No compression. No exceptions — that’s how the quality stays perfect.
